H Rex Greene, MD—Medical and Palliative Care
Dr Rex Greene received his BA from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1965 and his MD from UC Irvine in 1969. He did his internship, residency and fellowship at Los Angles County Hospital and USC from 1969-1975. He is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. In 1977 he founded the Hospice of Pasadena.

Dr Greene, who is married and the father of two grown children, is a practicing oncologist and palliative medicine specialist in Lima, Ohio. He is the past president of the Los Angeles County Medical Association. He was also a consultant to the California Medical Association Council on Bioethical Affairs and as an associate medical officer at City of Hope National Medical Center before he left California for Ohio. Currently, Dr Greene is a member of the American Medical Association's Council on Ethical and Judicial Affairs.
